Our road to restoration

Taken back to bare metal and finished in factory Basilica Blue with full black leather and white piping, then converted to left-hand drive for export to the USA.

1967 Austin Healey Sprite Mk 4
The story

This restoration involved taking the entire body shell back to bare metal, allowing new panels to be introduced and other sections to be fabricated and welded into place where rusted metalwork and poorly completed previous repairs required removal.

The car was finished in its original factory colour, Basilica Blue, and retrimmed throughout, including full black leather with white piping on the seats, in keeping with its original design. Upgrades included black Mohair for the soft-top hood and uprated larger front discs and calipers for the brakes.

The engine was rebuilt with a conversion to run on unleaded fuel, and the car was converted to left-hand drive for export to the USA, where the client now enjoys it.
